Lee County Rolls to 3-0 with a 53-6 Win at Douglas Byrd

The Lee County Yellow Jackets continued to score in a variety of ways and won a non-conference game at Douglas Byrd Monday night 53-6.   Lee County scored four times in two minutes in the 2nd quarter and 6 times in the final 9:05 of the half to roll past Byrd.   AJ Boulware led the Lee rushing with 97 yards on 8 carries as the Yellow Jackets rolled up 425 yards of total offense.   Colin Johnson completed 7 of 9 for 208 yards and 3 TDs – two to UNC signee Jayden Chalmers, who also returned a kickoff for a score.   Lee County travels again this week, on Friday night to visit 3-0 Hoke County.
