Cavaliers Improve to 3-2 with 35-14 Win over Franklinton
The Southern Lee Cavaliers scored touchdowns in every quarter on the night as they earned a little revenge from last year’s playoff loss, in defeating the Franklinton Rams, 35-14 at Cavalier Stadium. For the second straight week, it was Senior Tanoah Lockley opening the scoring, this time with a 31 yard touchdown catch from Senior QB Thomas Harrington on the Cavs first possession of the night. Junior DeAndre McAllister ran for 111 yards on 16 carries with two touchdowns. The Southern Lee defense forced two turnovers and kept the Rams to one offensive touchdown. The Cavalier’s improve to 3-2 overall and now play possibly October 3rd or 4th to make up for game cancelled next week by Central Virginia. Franklinton falls to 2-2.
