Cavaliers Win Conference Opener 42-6 over Western Harnett

Despite returning to the field for the first time in three weeks, the Southern Lee Cavaliers opened Tri-County 6 play with an impressive 42-6 win against Western Harnett at Cavalier Stadium. The Cavalier defense held Western Harnett to -3 yards total offense and did not allow an offensive touchdown in helping the Cavs earn their 4th straight win. Junior DeAndre McAllister got his first start at QB for the injured Thomas Harrington and connected on 2 touchdown passes on the night, one of 63 yards to Tanoah Lockley to start the second quarter. Southern Lee improves to 4-2 on the year and 1-0 in conference play. Western Harnett drops to 2-5 overall and 0-1 in conference. The Cavs will host Triton next Friday at Cavalier Stadium.
