EE Smith – 2018 Record – 0-11, 0-8 in the Patriot 4A/3A Conference

A very young 2018 squad struggled last year to an 0-11 record that included 3 close losses but the Golden Bulls are upbeat and excited about the upcoming year.   Quarterback Deshawn McCullough will look to spread the ball around to a variety of players with speed while Division I prospect Markell Samuel and Brenden Tibbs will anchor the defense for the Golden Bulls.

Lee County – 2018 Record – 11-1, 5-0 in the Tri-County 3A Conference

A veteran squad returns with a nucleus of talented players on both sides of the ball for a team that finished the regular season unbeaten in 2018 then lost in the 1^st round of the playoffs to Dudley HS.   Defensive end Dez Evans, DB Jayden Chalmers, and defensive linemen Delmaz Jennings and Deandre Dingle will lead the defense for Lee County while QB Colin Johnson, running backs AJ Boulware and Larry Baldwin and all-purpose player Tyrik McKendall will lead the way on offense.
