Unbeaten Lee County (3-0) to visit Unbeaten Hoke Co (3-0) this Friday

Unbeaten Lee County will visit Hoke County this Friday night in a battle of unbeatens in an early season non-conference matchup.    Both teams played rain-delayed games this past Monday night, with Hoke County holding off Westover 36-24 and Lee County routing Douglas Byrd on the road 53-6.

The two teams have one common opponent already this season – both beating EE Smith – Hoke County by a 26-25 margin and the Yellow Jackets beating Smith at Paul Gay Stadium in Sanford by a 47-18 score.   

Keonte Shaw leads the Buck rushing with just over 100 ypg with AJ Boulware leading the way for Lee County with 125 ypg average.   The game will kickoff at 7:00 at Buck Stadium in Raeford Friday night and will air on 105.5 FM in the Sandhills and online at www.wfjawwgpradio.com.
