Lee County Rolls to 60-0 Win at Northwood

The Lee County Yellow Jackets improved to 2-0 with a convincing 60-0 win at Northwood Friday night.   Colin Johnson was 12 of 17 passing for 171 yards and 2 scores as Lee County scored in a variety of ways to include two fumbles recovered in the end zone for touchdowns. The Yellow Jackets also caught Northwood for a safety not once but twice in the 2nd quarter.   The Lee defense held Northwood to minus -29 yards rushing and 11 yards of total offense for the game.   AJ Boulware was impressive again – 134 yards on 8 carries and 3 scores.   Boulware on the season has 18 carries for 278 yards (15.4 PC) and 6 touchdowns.   The 5th ranked Yellow Jackets will be on the road next week in Fayetteville at Douglas Byrd.
