Lee County Rolls On – Beats Union Pines 46-6
The Lee County Yellow Jackets rolled up 580 yards of total offense and won on Homecoming Night 46-6 over Union Pines. Colin Johnson provided 343 yards of total offense to lead Lee County and AJ Boulware added 177 yards on 23 carries and one score. The Lee County run defense held the Vikings to 49 yards on 24 carries and kept the UPines passing game in check to get the win. Lee County is now tied atop the Tri-County 3A Conference at 2-0 with crosstown rival Southern Lee and will play next week at Harnett Central. Union Pines falls to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in conference play. The Vikings will host Southern Lee next Friday night.
