Southern Lee Beats Harnett Central 19-12 on Senior Night

In a game they had to have, the Southern Lee Cavalier defense came up big when it had to – holding the Harnett Central Trojans on 4^th and goal from the ½ yard line with 12 seconds left to preserve the Cavaliers 19-12 victory on Senior Night at Cavalier Stadium. Senior Tanoah Lockley had a 45-yard catch and run from DeAndre McAllister in the third quarter to put the Cavs ahead to stay at 13-12. The Southern Lee defense held the Trojans scoreless in the second half and improve to 3-1 in Tri-County Conference play and 6-3 overall. Harnett Central falls to 1-3 in Conference and 5-5 overall. Southern Lee travels to Lee County for the annual Brick City Bowl next Friday night.
