Southern Lee Stifles Triton Run Game, Wins 30-5

The Southern Lee Cavaliers started with an opening drive of 65 yards in 12 plays in more than 6 minutes to take an early 7-0 lead and went on to defeat the Triton Hawks, 30-5 in Tri-County 6 3A Action at Cavalier Stadium. Junior Quarterback DeAndre McAllister finished 8 for 13 on the night for 187 yards and 3 touchdown passes. The Cavalier defense held the Hawks running attack to 100 yards less than their game average and without an offensive touchdown in winning their 5th straight game. Southern Lee also forced 5 Triton turnovers and Senior Daniel Pisano added 3 Field Goals on the evening. The Cavs improve to 2-0 in the conference and 5-2 overall. Triton drops to 0-2 in conference and 2-6 overall. Southern Lee travels to Union Pines next Friday.
