Southern Lee Beats Triton 57-51, Goes 2-0 in Tri-County 3A

The Southern Lee Cavaliers beat Triton at home Friday night to improve to 2-0 in Tri-County 3A Conference play and are tied atop the league standings with Harnett Central. Se’Vion Clay lead the Cavaliers with 24 points – 18 in the first half – as the Cavaliers built an early lead and then held on to beat the Hawks. Quashawn Williams and Makai Butler finished in double figures with 14 & 12 points each to help the Cavaliers. Travion Sanders and Joshua Lett lead the Hawks with 15 apiece. Triton falls to 1-1 in league play.
